When I want to go away
Wander from my familiar room
I can go there very quickly
I snap my fingers and say zoom
Anyone can join me at my special place
Some part of it is shown each night
If you look upward at the sky
for I am queen up there where everything is right
I am talking of course about
The dandelion moon
Golden when full and then silver
Under which all lovers spoon
As Queen of the Dandelion moon
Such a lovely peaceful place
I ask you to please come visit me there soon
We'll bounce around together light as air in space
No worries or no fears allowed
On your visit to the moon
No cost for transportation
Just snap your fingers and say zoom
But there is something you must do
Did you know there'd be a catch
Let down your hair, breathe in deeply
Feel the love, that magically opens up the hatch
Have you ever had one of those day's everything that can go wrong does so? Of course you have, we all have. In stead of screaming, or punching a wall, I meditate.
I have been taught to go into a quiet space, close my eyes and go to that happy place. Even if I just have a five minute break to do so,doing this is supposed to work.
this week I want you to describe your perfect happy space in either prose or poetry.I want to be able to close my eyes after I read it and see it in my mind.
put this challenge statement at the beginning or end of your submission so readers will know what you’re supposed to do.
write a discriptive view of the perfect (to you) place. whether it is a cool stream or a noisy football game is your choice. This is where you can go mentally to let the world go away,at least for the time you have to go there.
