Yes, He’s Risen
by dgford
3/2011
The rock was rolled away
And there inside the tomb
No body was discovered
My heart then broke in two.
From the dead he rose
Just like he said he would
And standing at the door
He knocks upon my heart
He paid the greatest price
The life upon the cross
The blood he shed for all
A man of sorrows called
Timeless story - ages past
Reaching into future lives
Still he stands there knocking
Open up and let him in

Featured in honor of Easter at Examining Our Religion.
I did a picture for a gal in Indiana of a sidewalk with several cracks in it, and I colored in some fingers hanging on to the edge of the walk.
She said it looked like her - that she was always falling through the cracks in life. LOL
Cheers, Don
