Invasion

She has slowly taken over

invading all of me

weakening me to my knees

tightening the chords

that breaths air to my lungs

Oh yes, she has taken over

She roams in my head

for five long weeks now

taking refuge in every nook,

torture in every part of me

Even my breath

she has taken away

Soon all that will be left

is yet another broken victim

of the flu!

I have heard of others speak of this flu epidemic that certailny does send you to your knees. If you have it, I do hope you are better soon my friend.

Oh my goodness.. you poor thing.. I pray you'll be well soon.. We have an epidemic of flu where I live.. Some of our elderly have actually died from it.. My aid had it real bad twice this winter but the last time her Dr. put her on a medicine called Tami flu that really helped.

I've never been this sick. Lost all sense of taste smell, breathing is even hit and miss ;(.
