Lost completely in thoughts

not unusually so
Reminiscing those first moments
beneath a canopy of snow
A nervous first glance
That look in your eyes
I think we both knew
we were in for a surprise
Do you remember
that first kiss
unexpectedly new
The shock of realizing
I was seducing you
I was shocked too
Do you remember
walking in the clouds
of frozen waterfalls with me
Kissing on a bench
beneath a tall willow tree
Shivering from the cold
you held me in your arms
Birds watching from above
as you weaved your charms
Setting off all
of loves alarms
Lost completely in thoughts
not unusually so
Reminiscing each and every moment
after that first hello

Carol, I'm so so so very sorry about your sister. I did not know as I myself have been quite sick lately and missed alot on gather. You know, everytime I think of you, I think of Dustin, and now I'll think of your sister too. While virtual hugs are meaningful in thought, I really do wish I could give you a real one. You are always in my thoughts and prayers.

I'm glad you liked my poem, you are bias however and love all my poetry :)

I was just starting to tolerate Christmas again and Bam! Here we go again, one day at a time.

I am feeling much better, I broke down, went to doctor and gave what felt like pints of my blood :) spent over 300 dollars for him to say, your just fine. go home and rest lol. doctors have the life!!!

Christmas will be Christmas again, it may never be the same, but new traditions, new memories ..... they are good too, I promise.

It was a beautiful experience then and even last nite when I relived it in thoughts. He said of all my poems to him, for some reason, this one was his favorite because of the simple yet accurate feelings of how we met and what it felt like. Sweet huh?
First kiss ... first hello ... floating on the dreams of love ... ah, so.

love is grand. many worry about the ups and downs that I experience (I so blatantly pour out in my poetry here), however a perfect relationship does not exist and one without bumps is incomplete. I am happy to say, I am still floating on the dreams of love, and living it too :)

I'm guess you like the work of the English Romantic poets such as Tennyson. You're sort of a modern Romantic.
